I am an IELTS examiner and wonder about the possibility of work in Bahrain. It's not so much for the money but just to keep my certification up to date otherwise i would need to recertify after 3 months.
How many tests are held a month?
What are the examiners paid per candidate?
Are travel and hotel expenses paid for?
Would I be able to take my family with me?
Do you need to do the writing as well as the oral marking?
Any info would be welcome?

Alright....ok.... I did a search and found out that there are 2/3 test dates a month usually on a weekend (Thurs/Fri ???) but that's about it.
Where I work now, there is a website you can access which would give all the info I needed but there isn't one for Bahrain sooooooooo if anyone does examining for the BC in Bahrain but live in the KoH I would be terribly grateful for info...you PM me you like. Cheers

Kipling... you can easily edit your posts. In the upper right corner of each of your posts there is button that says "edit" - nothing to it. (much easier that using the quotes... which even I eventually mastered...)
