A few things from the search feature- this program comes up a lot...

I've never taken this course, but frankly the information floating around doesn't inspire confidence.
Also, taken from their website

The course should veer the students to a lucrative career based on sound knowledge, pronounced concepts and productive skills. |
I don't know exactly what that means, but it doesn't inspire my complete confidence either.

All our program starts on Monday sharp at 9 AM. We always recommend landing a few days earlier to get adapted to the place and for this we have arranged for accommodation from 12 noon of Saturday. |
If they can't bother to get an English speaker to look at their website, then what does that say?

An International TEFL Certification; a guaranteed short-term ESL Teaching Job in an invigorating setting of a Thai school; a vacation that is filled with riveting cultural experiences the Special TEFL Thailand Project conducted by American TESOL Institute in Chiang Mai promises to unleash your spree to explore the thrills of Thailand and the world of TEFL teaching |
I'm not even sure it's legal to "unleash your spree" in public, but I'm sure I wouldn't want a teacher to do it.
As I said, I don't know anything about this organisation first hand. But even a cursory look around the internet brings up a lot of stuff that makes me doubt that this is a serious professional organisation.
Is there anything that comes up to make us think that it is?
Common sense, people.
Best,
Justin |
