I've been looking into residential tesol/tefl training courses in Vietnam and found a few that look like they tick all the boxes in terms of the minimum requirements of a useful qualification.

the 'TEFL international' TESOL course:

these two courses seem almost identical, apart from the language lesson offer. Is this common with these types of courses, or am I being stupid and these are actually the same course except Cactus is advertising it as a third party?

So has anyone graduated from these courses/this course- or know anything about them? Are they respected qualifications in the Vietnamese TEFL job market?

Hi grumbles......

I have heard that TEFL International is on the shady side. I am not sure about Cactus. In my research I came across BridgeTEFL and will be taking their course in the USA. They do offer a course in Vietnam. I have only heard good things about them. Might want to check it out when making a choice.
