Are there any Book Clubs in Dhahran?
We have one here where I live in China and meet once a month after deciding what to read. We usually get a nice photocopy of the original for the members to read; this keeps down costs.(Yes,Yes I know that's totally illegal but we are a wild bunch here and love to live on the edge )
Also does anyone like astronomy or can play the ukulele????
Can you buy musical instruments? Not that I am any good at playing any!
Cheers. Mr K.
PS.I think you all must have figured out by now that it's my day off and it's raining. |

Well, The most popular clubs in the Magic Kingdom are: 300 and 500 Clubs. These clubs have nothing to do with books, they are mainly concerned with money saving!!!!
I hope Uncle Scotty is around to give us more info about the miserables of 300 and 500 clubs! |

Mr Bond, what is the accepted approach to such club members. Would you give a 300/500 er a lift to work or invite him round to a barbecue for example, bearing in mind that there is often an element of reciprocity in most social activities???
A perplexed Mr K |

Well, I do not think there is a reciprocity with a 300/500 miserable.
If I see a 300/500 er in the bus/taxi stop I will make a U turn and change direction. And I will only invite them to a Tamis and Foul restaurant! |
