|
|
I have an interview on 5/8 with a recruiter for a job in the middle east. It is also likely that I will have an interview for a position in HK and Japan soon as well, and may other places. I would like to start preparing for these interviews. Does someone have any suggestions on how to prepare? I know the interview will vary based on the kind of school and student but will there also be differences based on the country? Can anyone suggest a good website to help me?
Thanks! and thanks for all of your help in getting me here! I wish you could all meet me in Portland for a nice pint. |

Make sure you know your CV, such as places you worked and dates.
Three best qualities, three worst qualities
Describe yourself
How would you deal with a supervisor if you knew they were wrong?
How can you contribute to the school?
Why should we hire you?
Best teaching memory
Difficlut problem you've overcome
Discipling students
They might put you on the spot and ask you to explain a grammar point or the difference between two words, like stare and glance.
HOpe this helps |

This request for info comes up a few times a year. Have you done a search for it? Maybe in a specific forum.
If you want more details with the Japan job, PM me or come to the Japan forum.
But you should give more details on the job and what the ad said. Too many variables otherwise. Also, what is your background? |

I would say to ask lots of questions about the company itself. Flatter them and turn the tables!! |
