There's a restaurant on Cao Thang St. District 3 that has various things on the menu you might want or not want to try.
Grilled Rat
Mouse on a stick.... or mice, depending on how hungry you are. 
Kangaroo, crocodile, rabbit, and snake.
Oh they have the normal stuff too like fish, chicken, frog.
Directions: Drive on Cao Thang past Dien Bien Phu, then past Ba Thang St. Keep going until Cao Thang St veers to a sharp left, right at the turn facing you is the restaurant.
Sorry cannot remember the name.
It's actually quite a nice place with an outdoor feel to it with plenty of seating and attentive staff. Prices are vietnamese and reasonable.
