| Tama station in western tokyo? Not a whole lot.... I lived near tama station for a year. |

| I think I mentioned in another post that in Tokyo, there is no need to confine your thinking to just the area you live in. While it's called "Tama city", it's actually only a tiny section of Tokyo and you can take a train and be in central Tokyo or Yokohama in about half an hour. Better to widen your focus and look at the whole of Tokyo and also Kanagawa prefecture since Tama is on the border. Machida is the nearest centre with a lot of shops and restaurants, Tama is mainly residential. |
