Looking for cheap accomodations (hotel?) for about 5 nights at the end of January. I used to live in Taipei, but as I didn't stay in hotels, I don't know any budget ones.....if you can recommend any, that would be cool! (Preferably close to the MRT station!)

| Define your budget a s there are a few near the central train station around $1000 NT. Does the lonely planet now have those plastic wrap things they use for English language magazines now? |

| You could go to Happy Family Hostel II and ask the guy if you can stay in his other nearby cleaner hostel, but the bathroon isn't kept that clean and some rooms have cockroaches - but not the rooms on the lowest floor. |

my friends also helped me to find some decent places. i think the place (friends hotel?) is $1200 / night....
