I found this job ad on another site that I frequent: TheApple. I don't know - sounds a bit too good to be true to me. Notice though - it says $3,000 to $3,500 ANNUALLY under "Compensation" BUT under "Benefits" it says this: BENEFITS. 3,500EUR/Monthly after taxes.

Johnslat, it's WAY out of line in terms of pay and benefits. Schools don't pay airfare and salaries are about 1/3 of the 3,500 monthly in this ad.
The highlights on 'getting work permits' is the ultimate tip off. They're going to want an application fee from the candidates.
Try it out - let us know how much the 'fee' is. The last time this scam went round the carousel, it was 750 USD, if I recall correctly. |

If this were true I would apply today as I'm already in Valencia.
Another indication that it is a scam is that the website address they use is for an association of English teaching academies here. A friend of mine is the president so I'll let him know that it is being used for this purpose.
I know the area well as I have a few classes there and my accountant is just around the corner. I know that there isn't an academy there.
Have a look at this link and you can see for yourself.

I agree that it would be fun to bait them and post any replies here. |

Many thanks - I thought it sounded very fishy. I've notified the administrator of the other site that it's a scam. |
