The answer is not much...
I think $12-$14 an hour is the going rate though I'm not that sure. Most places want some experience but there are some other schools that will just want you to have a white face. You never know you could get lucky and be earning $20 an hour. It's pretty hard to say.
Right now though it's quite a tough season and there's a real lack of students so most schools are cutting back on staff. |

Global downturn means less teachers leaving to return to home nations while more keep arriving. Glut of teachers, means more competition. Schools are being more choosy, which is fair, but it also mean less hours given and pressure is put downward on wages.
