				Hello,

I have just been accepted to SIT's MATEFL for Fall 2004. I was planning to do the public school certification program but changed my mind after deciding I'd rather teach abroad and if I decided to return to the US I can just become certified after deciding which state to live in. whew...Okay here is my questions...If I get a MAT in TEFL, will employers overseas like to also see a 'certificate'?

thanks! |

				| By certificate, do mean something like a CELTA? I think if you have an MA, that's all you need. An MA is much more comprehensive than a certificate. |

thanks. Thats what I thought but I wasn't sure if most employers would be really preoccupied with the certificate.
