What's the dress code for English teachers in Laos ? Is it like in Thailand, preferably wearing a black trouser and a white shirt, completed with that beautiful tie ? |

Dress code here is not as formal as it is in Thailand. Khettisak requires men to wear a shirt and tie, shoes as well. Vientiane college I am not so sure about, but I think a tie is not necessary. Panyathip, where I teach is more relaxed. I wear sandals and long pants and pretty much any shirt I want as long as it isn't a mess. Some teachers wear jeans and a t-shirt, especially on Fridays.
When I taught at 21st Century I wore walking shorts, sandals and a decent shirt (polo, button up w/short sleeves etc) |
