Hello all,
I'm looking for a dermatologist to take a look at a suspect looking mole as soon as possible. I'd really prefer an English speaking doctor if possible. Does anyone have any recommendations? Also, I've never been to a hospital/medical office here, any tips?? THANKS!!! |

Every major hospital in Taipei has a dermatology department, and most doctors that I've met in Taipei can speak reasonable English. The best thing to do is to make an appointment online. My girlfriend always does it for me; I'm not sure if the hospital sites have English or not. If you can get a Taiwanese friend to make you an appointment, that would probably be easiest. Just tell him/her the hospital you want, the day and time, and what department; dermatology in your case. The website will give you your number and tell you what door you need to go to in the dermatology department. It's actually pretty easy and convenient.
Good luck |
