Hi,

I've been asked to evaluate the staff at a company here in Bucharest. Until now I've never had to charge for staff evaluations because those being assessed have always been people I'm teaching and the evaluations have been free. This time they want an independant audit to evaluate their staff's progress as they are taking online classes and/or self-studying.

Basically it will involve writing a three-part test (general grammar, written English and a short oral assessment). I'll be writing this from scratch and estimate it'll take about a day. Then I'll have to do the individual oral assessment (about 15 minutes each for 21 students), grade all the resulting written parts, and finally write an evaluation/report for each of the employees. It'll probably take up about 25-30 hours of my time all told.

I have no problems with the prep and execution of it, I've done it many times, but I would appreciate people's input regarding the fee. How much do you charge for this kind of thing?
