I was thinking about heading down to Puebla or Mexico City in/around July and look for jobs in colegios, prepas, and Unis.
I have a BA Linguistics, option/emphasis/specialization in TEFL, from an American Uni. I've been working the past two years teaching Spanish in an elementary (ages six - fourteen), Catholic school in the States.
What is your take on this?

July may be too late to get the best jobs in prepas but you nevertheless will get offers. |

If you like teaching kids try cedros. It's a private catholic school. They have one for boys in the south and the one for girls I'm not sure where it's located. If you get here in July it should be no problem for you to find something.

If and when you get to Mexico City I am up for some adventures. I just arrived a few weeks ago and am currently looking for a job. I would love to travel around with someone and see the entire city. |
