I am a public school teacher in Canada with an interest in teaching english in Japan. I do not have an ESL background but have a wide range of teaching experiences with children of all ages. I want to teach in Japan but simply can not commit to a year long contract. I was recently married and my wife does not want to be away from home for that long.
Considering my background/experience and my life situation is there anything out there for me in Japan?
Thanks so much |

| You have very few options. I'd suggest looking into Westgate Corporation. |

Interac send a few people out between the two main intakes in August and March... you will usually live there on their expense (ish) until somebody drops out, and then you'll be sent to cover them in whichever area. Basically being an "alternate"... If you went out in December time then you might be able to just stay until March, because that's the end of their academic year.
www.interac.co.jp/recruit - it might be worth having a look/asking them. |
