The 11,450 SR salary /mo does not include airline tickets nor health insurance which will be deducted from the salary. |

Illegal. Read the Labor laws in a previous thread.
It's been stated in these threads time and time again: Do not associate yourself with M-Trading! |

M Trading say that they issue an 11 month visa and that is legal. Don't shoot me, I'm just the messenger and.... I'm not going to KSA. |

What kind of visa is it?
Those with valid work visas can legally work. Those with valid business visas can not legally work.
If you end up being yanked to the KSA on a business visa through an agency like M-Trading, they will have you over a barrel. You have no legal advocates if you get screwed out of your promised bennies or your salary. If you go report somebody to the authorities there, you'll be the one prosecuted. You were working illegally, after all.
If you go with M-T, something like the following COULD happen to you:
1. You buy a stash of weed
2. Stash is of low quality, meaning you got ripped hard
3. You report to the authorities your stash is of low quality and demand the seller to be prosecuted
4. You are prosecuted for doing something illegal (buying the stuff in the first place) |

M-Trading and its various couterparts are merely visa sponsors and do not have authority to "issue" visas. Through nefarious means involving visa agents and other relationships, M-Trading will attempt to procure for applicants:
1. 3-month business visa
2. renewal of same in Bahrain
3. renewal of same in Bahrain
4. the same again
This is the precise shenanigan Al Shabakah Training Establishment uses to illegally secure teachers for their nine-month contracts to teach at King Faisal University in Hofuf. After nine months, those same teachers are denied their vacation pay and end-of-service gratuity entitlements.
This website has plenty of information on all aspects of expat life in Saudi Arabia. He may be regarded as authoritative.

More on visas
Due to the strict visa control by the Saudi government, it may not always be possible to get a work visa. An indirect way, though, would be to get a business visa. However, your sponsor must convince the government that this visa is for a specific project and your stay would be only for a short duration (typically 2 months or so). The problem with this kind of visa is that it is suitable only for short-term working, for example, a turnaround or shutdown job in an industry. You will not be able to bring your family with this visa as you would have come to carry out a specific business in the kingdom for a short duration only.
Some people try to come on a visit visa, but if you are caught working for a sponsor and you have come on a visit visa, then you are asking for trouble, because this is illegal. Also, unlike the UAE, it is a herculean task to get a visit visa converted into a work visa.
In short, if you want to work in Saudi Arabia and you are looking for long-term employment, make sure that you have a valid work visa and the correct profession mentioned in your visa. This would save you from a lot of hassle later. |

I mentioned earlier that I have received three unsolicited emails from them offering me work. I questioned the business visa matter and they said they can provide a legal 11 month business visa. I had had dealings with them on the telephone a year or so ago and I personally wouldn't touch it with the proverbial bargepole. [/i] |

I wish I could go back home. I have to wait until mid-December at the earliest. Unless, of course, I want to pay taxes to Uncle Sam on what I earned this year overseas. No thanks. I'll stay right where I am for now. But come late December, it's Auf Wiedersehen for good. I've had enough of this 'TEEEEE-Sahhhllll' BS. |

I'm sorry to hear that rigel.

It doesn't sound that it has been such a positive experience for you. My Dad jerking me all around the world in the USAF had something to do with me seemless (?) moving all over the world...especially the Middle East.
The expat life isn't for all...I'm lucky as the missus, who was initially against my expat designs has accepted it. Such is liife...

It will be all the sweeter for the waiting. I know... I've been there....
Good luck Rigel.

Interesting. I sent a link to the tulba info dot com site to my M-T agency, and it suddenly went cold on me. Last week I was getting two emails a day from these jokers wanting me to go to work in the KSA for 11,450 Rs a month.
Now they're not saying squat.
Once again, I think out loud:
Five or six people here have posted they got the same offer. Using common sense, I multiply that by five to get about 25 people who have been offered jobs who come here to this site, as most visitors here who get this offer won't post about it. Multiply that by 5 to get the total number of offers made, as most people who get these offers don't bother to even come to Daves, let alone post anything it.
So ~125 offers for probably less than 10 openings. Nice little spider web, M-T. |

Dear sheikher,
Thanks for the blog link - I checked it out and the guy certainly seems to be the "real deal."
I just finished reading "The Complete Idiots Guide to Understanding Saudi Arabia" by Colin Wells. OK, I know what some of you may be thinking. I began it with a lot of skepticism, expecting to find a fair amount of misinformation. But darn it - the author, in my opinion, really knows the Kingdom. And his writing style is highly enjoyable.
I'd call it recommended reading for anyone who plans to go there:
