I have a university degree in modern languages, CELTA cert and 18 months' teaching experience in the EU.
Unfortunately, I've got no money to speak of and would like to live and teach somewhere in Europe and save up some money. Is this even possible? If so, where would you suggest?
Thanks |

I have an MA TESL/TEFL and 12+ years experience, and a contracted university position. I save a bit...not a lot.
The general answer is that Europe's not the region for savings at a newbie level...you might find something a bit better than subsistence level, but s.l. is the standard, I'm afraid... |

I-ve been trying to go to Europe for years. I-m American, so it-s hard. Right now we-re thinking about saving up and then opening a business, teaching English, selling touristy stuff, or flowers, etc. By doing that, we-ll get a visa, residency and a fresh new outlook on life. Probably won-t save a lot, but if you buy property, you coulod rent it out. |
