Please see my question above in the Z visa/Residence Permit sticky for the details.
Basically, I am wondering if there is any time limit on when a "Letter of Invitation" can be used?
I have a letter dated June 10th. My current visa expires mid-August. I'm in Guangdong. Can I apply for a new Z visa in Macau in August rather than now?
Thanks. |

Having looked at a sample invitation http://z-visa.com/work/safea.asp it has on it written the dates for the period you would be working. So my guess is that you can apply for the initial Z-visa any time before your start date. |

Thanks.
I have the letter shown in your link plus another one that indicates that I should apply in Macau.
What do you know about the application date? I would fathom that as long as I apply before the day my current visa expires I will be Ok, but, my "boss" said/lied that it must be done 1 week in advance. |
