Guy has been in touch with David Lida, American author of Mexico City: First Stop in the New World and convinced him to come out to a get together and offer a reading from his book (as well as to have several on hand for interested buyers)...now in paperback.
We're meeting at Casa Vecina in the centro where we had our last book swap. The address is 1er Callej�n de Mesones # 7, esq. Regina street. Look that up on guia roji if you need better directions.
David plans to discuss the book and his Mexico City experiences for about 30 minutes, then will take questions from folks joining us. Casa Vecina has food and drink in the bar restaurant.
It would be helpful if you could RSVP online here if you're coming so we know a little more about seating. Some of my American School Foundation book club members are expected to come as well.
