I'd like to learn how to use one but my school doesn't have any. Does anyone know any places that offer workshops in Yokohama or Tokyo?

Cheers.

No. Honestly, though I've been away a couple years, I'd find it hard to believe that anyone in the English education industry in Japan is using them. Here in the US, you won't find one cheaper than $4000, and that's a difficult expense to justify. I've used them a little (don't need much training to pull off basic usage) and written a grant that got a school two. By the way, most people call them Smartboards now, since this is the predominant manufacturer. For nearly all the same functions, go with an LCD projector and a write on adapter for your computer. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but also a lot less headaches.
