No. Honestly, though I've been away a couple years, I'd find it hard to believe that anyone in the English education industry in Japan is using them. Here in the US, you won't find one cheaper than $4000, and that's a difficult expense to justify. I've used them a little (don't need much training to pull off basic usage) and written a grant that got a school two. By the way, most people call them Smartboards now, since this is the predominant manufacturer. For nearly all the same functions, go with an LCD projector and a write on adapter for your computer. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but also a lot less headaches. |
