| Does any one have experience of obtaining a dependent's visa (for spouse of foreign national working in Japan) while already in Japan? The 7 minute-long message at Tokyo Immigration Bureau didn't answer my question, and I was wondering if anyone has or knows of anyone who changed from Tourist to Dependent in country? Thanks! |

What specific questions did you have? Just apply, and wait.
If you are eligible, it's very likely that you'll get it in a few short weeks. You shouldn't have to leave the country for any processing, if that's your concern. |
