I'm looking for a good accredited TESOL MA program in Thailand. I'd like the program to be 3 semesters, be reasonably priced, and offer a choice between a thesis and a project. I'm interested in starting in the fall. Any recommendations? |

I looked into this about 2-3 years ago but wasn't impressed with what I found. Thai unis don't have the best of academic reputations around the World and for the fees they were asking for, I decided to go back to the UK and get my MA there instead.
You could check these out though:
http://tesol.payap.org/
http://www.asianust.ac.th/tesol/index.htm
http://www.shinawatra.ac.th/grad/Mainmenu.htm (see programme #6 MTEIL)
Can't speak for any of them, though, sorry. Hopefully someone else will be along soon and offer more constructive input.
Gotta say though that for the high fees for a MA in the UK now, I consider it's been worth it as UK unis still have a relatively good academic name across the globe. Same goes for the US unis I would think. At MA and PhD level, I wouldn't waste my money at Thai unis. But I guess if that's your only choice then best of luck !

Thanks for the info. I'm just scoping the field right now. I may head back to the US and get the MA. I'll pay a visit to a couple of Thai universities and make up my mind. |

It might be worth checking out Mae Fah Luang University in Chiang Rai. They have a range of international programs related to education. The site itself is stunning as is the surrounding countryside and the cost of living is considerably cheaper than BKK. |

Thanks for the info, DataMan. I've heard of this place. It's a new university up there that may offer a good program. I'll look into it. |
