I really like the city, but have heard some not so great things about the Shandong Inst. admin. I've also applied at Yantai University.

---My biggest worries are getting paid on time and in full.

---Other life-threatening details: Many factories? Noxious gasses? Mining, construction near or on campus? General treatment of ft's? Apartment?

Yantai U. and Ludong U. are a better bet for you, me thinks. They treat their foreign teachers well enough - no worries about getting paid on time, and apartment box provided, of course

that institute, and most of the big schools, are on the East side, generally downwind from the city's noxious facilities
and altho it's aside the mountain, the general environment is not as good as, say in Kaifaqu.. better beaches on the NW side. So I roost here
