When we got a 1991 Camry with under 100K miles on it as a gift in California, I was happy. After we arrived in Oaxaca, the problems started.
Now there is a cracked part that holds the shock absorber system and the mechanic says you can't find Camry parts in all of Mexico, at least not 1991 Camry parts. Mexico experts, I beseech you, is this true? We have to drive across a U.S. border by July 3rd in order for the four of us and the car to be legal. |

Car parts aren't always easy to find down here
I don't know what the closest AutoZone to you is but they can get parts shipped to them from the US, a friend of mine recently had that done. Granted we are in Coahuila but it should still be doable.
Unfortunately Autozone is in 26 states but Oaxaca is not one of them.
What's the part you need specifically? Get the name and see if you can get it shipped to you. |

Gracias, Mikey, for the advice. Someone recommended a website called The Parts Bin to us because they do international shipping. So we are all hooked up!
Saludos,
