I know electronic translators are the devil in some classrooms I would like one for my own personal use. I need a French-English electronic translator. I've been reading about the Franklin brand but I'd like to hear some opinions on other brands. My students had great electronic translators but they were all English-Korean or English-Chinese. |

Electronic translators spew out so much gobbledegook! Especially when the students use them to translate material from Chinese into English when the material was originally in English.. it's enough to make my head spin and the meaning is totally lost. I always try to encourage my students to get information/articles written in English instead of doing the electronic translation of Chinese material.
I know you said you wanted one for your own use, but I couldn't resist commenting about the translators re my students.
