When I worked for KPC/LangSols in Kuwait, the accommodation came with free, 24-hr broadband internet access. Not every apartment had or has this facility, however, and it kinda depends on the luck of the draw. Some teachers there now have it, some don't.
If you don't have it pre-installed in your accommodation, whether it's feasible to get it installed depends on the length of your contract. I'd bet on up to a month or so to get it fixed up: more if it's Ramadan. It can be problematic to get broadband or DSL installed though - again, depending on the location and apartment block you're in - and you're likely to have to resort to dial-up in some areas or circumstances. |
