Hi all
I've done a search and can only find information about cats! With regard to humans, I've received conflicting opinions about whether one needs vaccinations for the UAE. Can anyone put me straight, please? |

Vaccinations are not required. Plus, if yer comin' fer a job, you'll get your medical done here. BTW, chip the cat...it's mandstory.

You haven't read anything about vaccinations because you don't need any though you can have them done here yourself for travel to countries that you may require them for or if you have children who need them. |

Nope... but any traveler should have at least an up to date Tetanus... and the Hep shots are also a good idea.

Hep A and B are usually recommended for the UAE now and if you have school age children, they will be done in school unless you can show the certificates. Not sure which age group this applies to, my daughter was a teenager at the time. You should also be up-to-date with tetanus. |

So, Hep A + B and Tetanus are advisable, but nothing is essential.
Thanks, folks! |
