Hello and thank you for taking a moment to read my post. I am a 27 year old Canadian male who will be taking my ACE TESOL certification this upcoming fall. I have recently joined the Cafe but have visited the site in the past to get a general sense about what might be expected in looking for work in this field. My credentials are thus: English undergraduate degree, experience in working with children, curious to experience life in another part of the world for awhile. I am hopeful to get some insight into what I can look to do, perhaps in terms of volunteer work, in the next 6-8 months so that I can best prepare myself to find work in the early part of 2010. Where should I look to go? I am not necessarily looking to make a lot of cash on my first contract but would like to be able to live comfortably in a relatively warm climate. I have been thinking about Central or S. America in particular but have not seen overwhelmingly good things on any of the boards about the prospects there. Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated. Take care and best wishes.

Try the colleges in Oman for 2010...... Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Manpower. Salalah Oman is the best for climate. These jobs are acquired through contractors. CECN, TATI, Bahwan Cybertech and a couple of others. |
