Any new information from those who have worked there? They always seem to be hiring - and offer very high salaries.

They are always hiring because teachers are always leaving. I believe this is the Korean international school and it is run like a concentration camp.

Concentration Camp? wow! can you give details please? Like they don't pay you - or let you eat food - work 24/7 or what?

yeah OP -

are you talking about

Qingdao International School of Shandong (QISS)
The American International School of Qingdao
Qingdao MTI International School
Yew Cheung International School
or
One of the international departments in one of the richer schools
or maybe
The Korean International School of Qingdao (KISQ)? (which, incidentally, is only really an 'overseas Korean' school - not a multi nationality school as you might be led to believe from the title)

which?

Aaah Hah! I knew it! You either were offered this through global crossroads or a notorious Qindao recruiter by night (teacher by day.)

There is plenty on this school across the internet.

a co-worker has a few friends in kisq and he said a bunch of employees haven't been paid for the last couple of months and that they have some serious money problems right now. A guy from there bailed to the school i work at and said before he left they were making late payments and then paying in cash, which is not a good sign.
