I will be overnighting in frankfurt at the end of the month, I have heard that MEDIA MARKT and SATURN are the places to get good buys on computers.
I'm traveling from Saudi to final destination Brasil and will have most of the day to go shopping for a laptop. What place do you recommend if you have information on this? Computers in Saudi are made for the Arabian market and the only advantage is no sales tax. I was told that the 15% tax in Germany can be returned at the airport when leaving. Can I find a good buy in Frankfurt or are computers more expensive than other countries in Europe? and what brands have international warranties if you know?

ew! I would't buy a laptop from them... i bought mine at the notebook shop in darmstadt. They had the best prices and they have automatic full coverage (at the chainstores you have to pay extra for that)
