I have been in the process of negotiating with a new school for the next year and after many calls, online demo, answering teaching related questions I was offered a job.

Ok, the salary was good as were the conditions.

So we have to get the ball rolling for me to get a new visa soon.

They ask me to sign the contract, sent to me via email, and faxed back to them. No big deal - EXCEPT the contract is not filled in!

My email to them responded with was just sign it and they will fill it in.

Well, I don't consider myself a fool but they have indicated that if I don't sign the blank document then I am implying that I don't trust them.

Well I don't trust many people in China for good reason and I don't think I am going to start now.

the other option is flying there and signing it in person but I really don't have the time to do that right now.

Even though we all know that there are times when the details of a contract are simply ignored here, just tell them that you would never consider signing something you have never read or even seen. Or fill in the blanks yourself, as discussed previously, and ask then to sign and chop it before you sign.

Or simply tell them to go and take a running feck to themselves. Laughing

tell them it's no problem and that you can fill in the details for them. if they say no and still don't want to send you a filled in one then it's a good sign it's a scam.

Client: "Fair enough." Signs.

Not signing a blank contract implies you don't trust them? LOLOLOL. What reason would you have to trust this bunch of lying, conniving, scheming wangbas.

Of course you don't trust them. You shouldn't. Even after the contract is signed, it willl be meaningless to them with regard to obligations on their part.

Sign a contract which is completely and accurately written or translated into English.
