Hi,
I recently got in contact with Accent Language School, Krakow. Does anyone have any info (good or bad) regarding this school?
Many Thanks |

Good school, nice friendly people. As with most schools, you won't get rich working there. |

Thanks for the above. I had an interview with Director of Studies who advised that I would be starting out on 20 classes per week. She advised of a pay rate between 45 - 60 Z per class (gross) depending on experience (I am a newbie!). No accommodation will be included. Is this a good/bad offer relative to other existing schools within Krakow? |

Maniak,
I was making 1/zl a minute when I was a fresh teacher here!
If you're a good teacher, then why not sell yourself for more? You are only limiting your opportunities here in Poland by not charging a higher rate! |

Yes, I have only taught in Warsaw.
Who cares about Krakow's wages? The questions was about a new teacher, nothing about where you live! |

Hi All,
Thanks for the above info.
I was however referring to wages relative to schools in Krakow. If Warsaw is 1 Zl net per min for a newbie then what should I be expecting in Krakow?
Many Thanks |

About one and a third grosze per second gross is an average starting point in Krakow. |

When I worked in Poland in the nineties real wages were double that. |
