Hi, Everyone,
Just want to get feedback on my offer from a university in Saudi. My background: Masters, American, single mom with 3 big kids, taught in Saudi before, have been a teacher for 23 yrs., with a couple of baby breaks. I dont feel good about this. What do you think? What would be a good furniture allowance?
Monthly Salary: approx 13,000
Furniture:: 50% of the annual housing allowance (only if you have not received it before) (NOTE: I HAVE)
Housing: 17,000, unless housing provided
Annual Leave: 60 days (NOTE: THEY FORGOT TO WRITE THE WORD PAID)
Contracting Location: Country of nationality (NOTE: I AM NOT PRESENTLY IN AMERICA)
Contract Duration: Determined by the university, and renewable upon mutual agreement
4 RT tickets via Saudi Arabian Airline from Jeddah to the contracting location
NOTE: NO TRANSPORTATION ALLOWANCE MENTIONED, NOR MEDICAL, NOR WORK HOURS |

If it seems like KAU and feels like KAU, it must be KAU. If so, there are long past threads for you to go over.
Good Luck! |

| Wow! Good detective. I was trying not to mention the name. I have read the threads, but haven't seen anything regarding contractual agreements. |
