Hi, what is the present situation with work visas in Vietnam? I have some teaching experience in Thailand, a degree but no TEFL certificate. I believe a TEFL certificate is a requirement for a work visa but I have also seen many posts that suggest the work visa situation is far from concrete and everyone is pretty flexible in their attitude to it. I would like to stay in Hanoi for around a year maybe doing a couple of part time jobs.
