| anyone have advice/opinions on the best international city to take the CELTA? have been thinking about thailand mainly because it seems to be cheapest, but also know that i should be thinking about comfort/ease of life during this time |

I'd say the best place to take it is the city/region where you think you'd like to teach. The course itself should be the same wherever you take it. You can use the four weeks to get familiar with the area, line up job interviews, find housing, etc.
