Hi,

I have been offered a job at York Idiomas in Oviedo, without being asked for an interview from abroad. Does anyone know of this school and its reputation? Has anyone worked there?

I would appreciate any information.

I used to work there. It's a bog-standard school, with a spread of ages and levels; you'll be teaching all of them. On the positive side, they don't interfere with what you want to teach, and Oviedo/Asturias really is preciosa. On the negative side, there is zero teacher development, and their pay is some kind of fiddle, that they give you most in cash and declare very little officially to the taxman. Good for a year to tide you over but for no longer.
