|

What opportunities would be available for a teacher with a Multiple Subject Credential from California? This means, of course, that I have a BA and passed all of the exams to qualify for the credential. However, I do not have a TEFL Cert. Would teaching at international schools be an option?
About me: Turning 40, male, plenty of experience working with youth, very personable, punctual, and patient. Just thought this info might be useful.
Also, does anyone know what cities might be the best to start in?
Any info would be greatly appreciated ! |

At your age, you should probably have teaching experience to go along with those credentials. Together, that makes you eligible for international schools. You can teach whatever you have specialized in, not just teach English. |

Without experience in teaching your subject area (two years) or an MA, you are probably not going to find an international school job. That said, if you are qualified to teach science, you might get lucky. |
