Im coming from the US to Taiwan in about and I was wondering how I would go about getting a 60 day visa? Its my understanding that I can just show up in Taipei and they will issue me a 30 visa right?

Also, do I need a plane ticket showing that im leaving the counrty 30 (or 60) days after I arrive upon arrival into Taiwan or can I wait until I get there to book my flight for visa run?

Thanks,
Matt

I am having a similar problem. I have a job lined up. However, no one can tell me for sure if I will be allowed to enter the country with just a one-way ticket or if I have to buy an expensive round trip ticket? Before I shell out $1,200 to $1,600 non refundable USD I'd like to know.
