				| In case I can't find an ARC-sponsoring school in time, what is the CHEAPEST visa run?
I heard about Hong Kong, but I researched it and plane tickets are $10,000! I don't have that much money to spare at the moment!

I remember back in Korea, I could do a visa run for under $200, and cover the bus to Busan, the boat to Japan, the hotel, food, etc.

If I find a school, will they pay for the visa run? Or is that just wishful thinking?

				| I just checked Dragon Air on the internet and the roundtrip price TPE-HKG-TPE, tax included, is just under NT$7,500. Hopefully others on the board know of better deals. Many of my students tell me that the best airfare prices come from travel agents, but I myself don't have any experience with that.
I've never heard of a school paying for a visa run.

UPDATE: Just saw that Dragon Air has "Economy Class Specials" from Kaohsiung to Hong Kong, starting at NT$3,700+tax.

				| They've changed the visa rules -- and you can apply for an extension here, so no reason to go on a visa run! | |

				| OP - if you have to go on a visa run you must pay any costs incurred. | |
