Greetings all!

I am currently working in Japan as an English teacher. I ran into something interesting today. One of my students is originally from Brazil, and wrote a paper in both Japanese and Portugese on her life. This is all well and fine, but the thing is that she asked me if I could translate her Portugese paper into English (Yes I realize that Spain is obviously a Spanish-speaking country, but I figured I would have a better chance finding someone here than in the Brazil forums). If someone could be so kind as to translate the following into English for me (obviously someone fluent in Portugese) I would be most appreciative.

The paper reads as follows:

Again, any help would be GREATLY appreciated as I do not want to let my student down. Thank you so much!

I don't speak Portuguese, but I'll have a go based on my knowledge of Spanish:

I'd like to tell you a bit about my life since coming to Ushiku First school.

Since coming here, nothing's been easy.

I've constantly been trying to make new friends and learn a little more Japanese.

Now, in my third year, I have friends and a best female friend; I can't speak Japanese fluently, but I can get by pretty well in the school and in other places too.

Now, being in my third year, I know that I don't know everything I should, but I hope to keep trying and trying in my studies, overcoming all the obstacles in my way to achieve all I want. I know that it won't be easy, because nothing in live is easy, or handed to you on a plate.

But now I feel successful and proud of myself to have got to where I am. And I hope to go further!

Well, this is a wee bit of my life in Ushiku First school.
