I am going to be graduating from college in December of this year and I am very interested in teaching english abroad. I am finding it hard to sift through programs that are legitimate, and programs that aren't. Some have fancy websites, yet have horrible reviews. While others have a mix of good and bad reviews.
I would like to teach somewhere in Asia, and I am looking to save money. I have been reading about the JET program, however it seems my chances for getting in are slim because I have no prior experience (among other things). Does anyone have any solid recommendations of legitimate programs for tesol in Korea, Japan, China, etc?

China, well, I don't know of any programmes like that, }}


Asia is a big place, there are bad schools and good schools, just like bad and good teachers. Some teachers might hate a place, others might love it. If you don't take a chance, you'll never know.
