I am an English teacher at a secondary school in the Netherlands. This autumn me and my girlfriend (who's English) will be moving to London for 6 months or so (of course she easily found a job). However, for an English (non-native) teacher in England it'll probably be more difficult to find a suitable temporary job. Can anyone recommend any teaching related (temporary) jobs for me? I was thinking of English courses for non-native speakers or teaching Dutch (can't imagine why people want to learn it though |

Some further education colleges offer adult students language courses in the evenings. You need to contact colleges with the suggestion that you could teach Dutch, doing it as soon as possible so that they have sufficient advertising time. Note, however, that this is only part-time work so won't be enough to keep you in nasi goreng. |

5E is a starting place. They are advertising jobs on the TEFL site, I believe... and they hire non native speakers.. It would be a way to get your foot in the door. Otherwise there are agencies like Time Plan and Red. Good luck! |
