Yes, I checked the search function  ...the same one at this site that's been crap for 6 yrs. (hey, I say that as a Dave's user for all that time!).
Global English Sina has a recently placed ad at Dave's that's offering teachers(no specific credentials specified?!) jobs throughout China. 12K/mo., free apt., subsidized airfare, medical, etc. Sounds a tad bit too good to be true. Anyone in the know about this outfit?
Cheers. |

I too have already been contacted by this organization and am wondering if it is for real! Does anyone have any experience with them?! |

The very large majority of adds on Dave's Cafe are run by illegal businesses (claiming otherwise ...) promising high salaries, top notch living facilities, best teaching experiences, bonuses of all sorts, ...
Funny, they also advertised year around |

Yeah, if it sounds too good to be true, it most certainly is.
I might ask gypsy: if this outfit has contacted you, it might be interesting to ask them for testimonials from current/former FTs! |

Yeah; I replied and got a reply that I needed a TEFL, for which they recommended online sites.
Don't know. |

Yes., I got a reply from them stating they would consider me once I got the TEFL from one of their websites. Sounds like the TEFL from these places could be worthless. I was considering doing a cheap 60 hour $199 TEFL from one of these places but it may be best to look elsewhere. |

I would definitely look elsewhere as most places require at least 100 hours in the classroom and 6-10 hours observed teaching practice. Look to the CELTA/Trinity brands or an equivalent as they are recognized internationally by the vast amount of employers within the industry.
I had a reply too but as soon as i saw the online TEFL advert I lost all interest in them! |
