Hi there,
I just got a job in Sheung Shui, New Territories. I'll be moving there the last week of August. I'm looking for a 1 bedroom furnished apartment in the area. If anyone knows of anything, please message me.
Thanks! |

Not specifically, but you can try:-
http://www.gohome.com.hk/english/home.asp
and also asiaexpat/geoexpat - but pricier flats
Most people just turn up to the area they want to live in, and find a property agent to help them. |

Always best to move into a serviced apartment or a hotel until you find out where you really want to live.
A friend found her flat before she came to Hong Kong. She thought it was OK until she saw my place and realised she had been ripped off! |

Thanks for the advice and info folks. I wouldn't commit to anything without seeing the place first, but was just hoping someone over there already might have some thoughts or leads. I really appreciate the help.
See y'all in HK soon! |

Well I am moving out of MY furnished apt. near Ma On Shan - a five minute bus ride to University MTR and, I guess, about 15 minutes to Sheung Shui. It is two bedroom though, and might not be close enough for you - but a beautiful flat, in a great complex and lovely location.
I am not that familiar with Sheung Shui other than as the place to cross over into the Mainland - but I know the Sha Tin, Ma On Shan area pretty well, if you have any questions |

Hey all...
I found a 2 bedroom furnished apartment in Fanling after two stressful days of going to various real estate agents.
Thanks again for all the advice, Rob |
