After several years of teaching in China, I have decided that it is time to go back to my original vocational background - Food Manufacturing, Processing and Quality Assurance.
I have found a few websites with a selection of jobs that fit my criteria.
I would like to know what people would consider to be a realistic and achievable salary level for a technical or middle management role in HK? How much should I be aiming at to achieve a reasonable standard of living? |

Not really sure that a bunch of teachers would be the best people to advise on the market salaries for the 'Food Manufacturing, Processing and Quality Assurance Industry'. Personally I have no idea. Maybe post on a related site or one of the general HK forums?
Also (assuming you're not a HK resident) it seems that it might be difficult to get a job in this field and visa approval as there is not AFAIK a shortage of people in HK in that field so there's not really a compelling reason to bring someone in from overseas. Again, i don't really know the industry though so I might be wrong. |
