I am looking for someone to offer an invitation so that my wife can come for a visit during my settling in period, while awaiting my residency. Can anyone help? PM if you can, or if you have any advice.
Thanks to Pik and VS, for earlier info.

Be sure it doesn't muck up the paperwork for her eventual residence. I don't know that it would cause any problems, but... you don't want to slow the process any more.

In which city will you be working?

Guess what guys? We got sorted today by the Oman Embassy in London, and have a green light!
Thanks VS, and Duffy, unfortunately not to Salalah, but I definitely want to catch up with you while in Oman, as I find your postings really interesting, and you make Salalah sound like paradise. Maybe in the same way the Bay of Islands appeals to me!
Cheers

OOPS!
The spelling atrocious, but the two words are 'today' and 'Thanks'. Haven't been drinking, just excited, and careless!
Cheers

I will post one my regular lessons on embarrassing spelling errors. Up in the right hand corner of all your posts is a button that says 'edit' and you can go in and remove the evidence.
Glad to hear that things are looking up and hope the embassy delivers.
