Awhile back I was able to do a bit of curriculum design and I tried to use the Lexical approach. I think it was pretty successful and I'm trying to put together some more lessons. Unfortunately I lost my old paperwork and didn't bookmark the websites, nor did I send myself an email of the links.

The phrases were all 3 to 4 chunks in length.

I believe the first was:

I think it's...

Followed by:

I mean it's...


Is anyone familiar with this particular list? How about another? I'm looking for well researched phrase lists utilized in spoken English. The author of the previous list claimed that those were the top two. I may be able to reconstruct the list a bit more if you need more information. But, probably not beyond ten.
