I have an email from a London council about my work experience. I plan to get it notarised tomorrow, but will the FCO also need to stamp it (or should I say will they?). I looked on their website and it didn't look like the type of document they do.
I would be grateful for any input. |

I've applied for work visas via the London embassy on more than one occasion, but I've never heard of having work experience letters (let alone emails) notorised. Whenever I've applied, I've only had to get my degree and medical certs certified by the Foreign Office. It's a fairly pointless procedure, done with the ostensible purpose of ensuring that your degree and medical tests are from legitimate institutions. So I don't see how a letter of work experience would fit in here.
BTW don't all applications with the London embassy now have to go through an agency? |

Thanks for the answer. I am already employed so I don't need a visa, I'm just trying to get some extra money for past experience. Perhaps, I just need to take my letter of reference to the cultural commission or back to the saudi university? I presume someone needs to check it is authentic. |

You'll have to ask where you're working. |
