|
|
Hi there,
My name is John and I have been working in Japan teaching English for over two years now. I plan on teaching here for a private school for another two but looking down the road I would like to return back to the USA. And I think it could be interesting to be a recruiter and share my love and experience about Japan with others. And have them try out Japan as well.
Can anyone share some insight about how to become a recruiter?
Thanks for your help!
John |

Do a post-grad in Human Resources. For the education area you may need some sort of education related qualifications and probably Japanese language ability (2kyu is the usual business level) as well.
Most of the companies that hire for Japan are based in Japan, and the rest are HR companies that work with Japanese companies. As with all things that have to do with business in Japan, you need contacts.
Eikaiwa also have HR recruiters, but they tend to be people who've worked through their corporation starting as conversation teachers and moving up. |
